Quebrada las Gachas (Santander)

Guadalupe is about 5,5 hours car ride from Bogotá. A typical colonial style village with a picturesque church in the main square and with an unadulterated Colombian atmosphere.

Quebrada las Gachas is situated 2-3 kms from the village: it is a real gem, a reddish colored river that is the little “brother” of Caño Cristales – however the place is still unknown to many people. You can cross the reddish river with the help of our local guide or even splash around in one of the nature-made “jacuzzi”. The Quebrada las Gachas tour is a unique experience. Along the way, you can spot fruit trees and plants to the slopes of the Andes such as banana, lulo and avocado.

Tip: It is better to stay 1 night in Guadalupe so the tour is much more comfortable.
