Mongui – Páramo de Ocetá

Another pride and joy of Boyacá county is the colonial village of Mongui, which provides a similar experience as its more famous sibling, Villa de Leyva. You can explore the beautiful little village during a short walk around complete with a breakfast. Mongui manufactures handmade traditional soccer balls. The hiking begins around 10 am with a local guide to the lesser-known area of the Andes called Páramo de Ocetá, right next to village. Páramo de Ocetá is one of the most beautiful Páramo in Colombia and the hiking is simply amazing. After the hiking we will have local lunch in Mongui. Arrive back to Bogotá around 10 pm.
