Brazil can be visited throughout the year, although the climate varies considerably depending on the region. For some destinations, the time of year can significantly affect the experience, particularly in Lençóis Maranhenses, where the presence of the lagoons depends on seasonal rainfall.
Fernando de Noronha, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Porto de Galinhas can be visited throughout the year, while weather conditions can affect outdoor activities and excursions.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 – Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and private transfer to your hotel. Free time.

DAY 2 – Rio de Janeiro: City Tour

Private guided tour to discover the most iconic sights of Rio de Janeiro, including Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, the historic city center, the Selarón Steps and some of Rio’s main viewpoints. A complete experience combining culture, history, architecture and the city’s spectacular landscapes.

DAY 3 – Rio de Janeiro: Tijuca Forest & Jardim Botânico

Discover the greener side of Rio de Janeiro with an excursion through Tijuca Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world, surrounded by tropical vegetation, trails and beautiful viewpoints. Continue with a visit to the Jardim Botânico, famous for its palm trees, tropical plants and historic gardens.

DAY 4 – Rio de Janeiro → Salvador de Bahía

Flight to Salvador de Bahía and private transfer to your hotel. Free time to relax and start discovering the city.

DAY 5 – Salvador: Historic Center & Cidade Baixa

Private guided tour to discover Salvador and its historic center, including Pelourinho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with colonial buildings, colors, music and Afro-Brazilian culture. Continue towards Cidade Baixa to visit Mercado Modelo and the Lacerda Elevator, immersing yourself in local life and traditions.

DAY 6 – Salvador → São Luís → Lençóis Maranhenses (Barreirinhas)

Flight to São Luís and private transfer of approximately 4 hours to the Lençóis Maranhenses region. Arrival and check-in at your hotel.

DAY 7 – Lençóis Maranhenses

Day dedicated to discovering Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, with immense white sand dunes and natural lagoons with crystal-clear waters. Shared 4×4 excursion to Santo Amaro, one of the most spectacular areas of the park, with several stops to admire and enjoy the lagoons.

DAY 8 – Lençóis Maranhenses

Second day dedicated to discovering Lençóis Maranhenses, with a shared 4×4 tour to Atins, crossing the spectacular dunes and lagoons of the park. A full day immersed in one of the most surprising natural landscapes in Brazil.

DAY 9 – Lençóis Maranhenses → São Luís

Last free morning in the Lençóis Maranhenses region. Then private transfer to São Luís. Arrival in the afternoon and check-in at your hotel.

DAY 10 – São Luís → Recife → Fernando de Noronha

Very early morning departure from São Luís, with a flight with a connection in Recife to Fernando de Noronha. Arrival on the island, private transfer to your hotel and free time to relax and start discovering this natural paradise.

DAY 11 – Fernando de Noronha

Day dedicated to discovering the island, with paradise beaches, crystal-clear waters and untouched nature. Possibility to go snorkeling, take a boat excursion or visit some of the most spectacular beaches on the island.

DAY 12 – Fernando de Noronha

Second day dedicated to the island, with the possibility of exploring its bays and viewpoints, going snorkeling or simply relaxing on the beach.

DAY 13 – Fernando de Noronha → Recife → Porto de Galinhas

Flight to Recife and private transfer from the airport to Porto de Galinhas, approximately 1 hour by car. Arrival and check-in at your hotel.

DAY 14 – Porto de Galinhas

Free day at the beach.
Some options:

• Natural Pools of Porto de Galinhas – jangada excursion during low tide.
• Praia de Maracaípe & Pontal de Maracaípe – relaxation and sunset.
• Praia dos Carneiros – full-day excursion among tropical beaches and natural pools.

DAY 15 – Porto de Galinhas → Recife

Last free day at the beach. In the afternoon, private transfer to Recife airport for your international flight. Goodbye Brazil! 🇧🇷

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Lençóis Maranhenses: we include this destination in our itineraries exclusively from May to September, when the lagoons are generally full and the landscape offers the best conditions to experience Lençóis Maranhenses.
Outside this period, we do not offer Lençóis Maranhenses, as during the dry season many lagoons can reduce considerably or disappear, significantly reducing the spectacular nature of the landscape.

Fernando de Noronha – environmental taxes: entry to Fernando de Noronha includes a Taxa de Preservação Ambiental (TPA), calculated according to the number of days of your stay, in addition to the Marine National Park entrance fee. These taxes are mandatory and must be paid directly by the traveler. For a 3-night stay, the total cost is approximately R$800 per person (135 euros / person), based on 2026 rates.
