Travel throughout the year
Argentina can be visited throughout the year, but the ideal travel period depends largely on the regions included in your itinerary. Patagonia, in particular, offers a very different experience during winter compared to the warmer months.
We will help you choose the best itinerary for your travel dates, adapting the route and activities according to seasonal conditions and availability.

Important information
Patagonia in winter: We do not recommend visiting El Calafate during the winter months, from June to September. Although El Calafate and Perito Moreno Glacier remain accessible, several experiences and services operate seasonally.
Estancia Cristina remains closed during this period, while access to El Chaltén and hiking routes such as Laguna de los Tres can be difficult due to snow and winter conditions. Some restaurants, excursions and other tourist services may also have limited availability or remain closed during the winter season.
For the best experience, we recommend visiting El Calafate between October and May, when a wider variety of excursions, hiking opportunities, restaurants and tourist services are available.
Penguin season in Ushuaia: Penguin sightings during excursions along the Beagle Channel are generally possible from mid-October to early April, depending on the excursion and seasonal conditions.
