Having seen the... read more reviews, we got in touch with Peter with a rough outline of what we wanted to do. He helpfully made some suggestions for additions and other changes, and came up with a really exciting and well balanced itinerary, with hikes, city tours, smaller towns and coast. SIM on arrival was a great idea, but what made it really work was how responsive Peter was, with minor changes en route, and day to day reminders about pick-upon times etc. He made us feel like his only clients - it really mattered to him that we enjoyed our trip. The hotels, guides and drivers were well chosen, and generally excellent.

Upon arrival the driver gave us the sim card and we always had internet which I find very useful. All tours were on time, drivers were always on time to pick us up. The day before the relocation to the next place Peter would remind us about things we should not forget for the trip. What we also found very convenient - Peter did all airplane check in and sent us boarding passes. We visited many places within two weeks and a beauty of the country is truly amazing. We loved the tours in Amazon jungles and traveling in Amazonia by boat. We saw unusual plants and animals including capybara, the largest rodent in the world. We interacted with local people in Amazonia and saw their way of living. Cocora valley with the tallest palms in the world was a highlight of the trip. Guatape is very beautiful as well. Stays in the hotels were very comfortable. The views from the hotels in Saliente and near Tayrona National Park were amazing. Tropical food tasting was a very interesting experience and visiting Communa 13 was educational for us. Restaurants are good and not expensive. I am really glad that I was able to convince my husband to go to Colombia who initially had safety concerns. We always felt safe and I should say that Colombia is a great destination country for tourism that currently remains underappreciated. We are very thankful to Peter for organizing the perfect vacation for our family.

The park itself is absolutely gorgeous, we couldn’t believe that this didn’t appear on any “must see” lists when visiting Bogota. For such a short trip outside the city, the scenery is incredible. It added so much to our experience in Colombia.

I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a dose of nature on a quick day trip. It won’t disappoint!

Every single driver and guide was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable. For a country where often we found English was not widely spoken all the guides who took us on tours spoke perfect English and were incredibly knowledgable and passionate about their country.

I could not recommend Your Colombia more and would love to visit again soon !
