Salt Cathedral and Lake Guatavita

We will visit the legendary Lake Guatavita (legend of “El Dorado” comes from this magical place). We will do a short hike like 1 hour around the Lake. Then we will go directly to Zipaquirá. The real attraction of the city is the Salt Cathedral which is simply amazing and incredible. The cathedral can be visited by tourists since 1995. It is a religious place but everyone will enjoy it because you will be able to understand one piece of the Colombian culture. The main square of Zipaquirá is great colonial square – our lunch will be served in the city center.
